Founder and Managing Director of PE Consultants Pte Ltd, a Professional Engineer (Civil) and geotechnical specialist practising in Singapore since founding the firm in 2013. His practice has centred on PE endorsement and Qualified Person (QP) submissions, structural inspection, and façade inspection for institutional, residential, government and religious-sector developments, and is now extending into Design for Safety Professional services under Singapore's WSH Council Code of Practice on Design for Safety — coordinating DfS reviews, DfS Registers and maintenance strategy reporting for main contractors, architects and consulting engineers.

Why civil and structural engineering understanding matters for DfS
Design for Safety review works best when the person facilitating it can follow the underlying engineering — structural load paths, temporary works sequencing, access and maintenance implications, and construction methodology — well enough to ask the right questions, not just record the answers. Combining DfS facilitation with a working civil and structural engineering background is particularly useful for structural works, temporary works, access design, and the maintenance and construction-sequencing risks that a purely administrative DfS process can miss.
